So markdown is a wonderful text format, and easily my favorite one!
Some of you might dislike the HTML-ness of the RSS ecosystem, and for that reason there is now a markdown RSS branch:

This new branch uses the <enclosure> tag in each RSS <item> group. I won’t lie, I don’t know if there is software available for this specific use case! Even for terminal-only workflows, binaries like Newsboat seem to pair up with a browser like Lynx to handle everything in the typical HTML format.
However, if you are someone who specifically wants the markdown files for these posts, then I think it’s safe to assume that you are also someone who has a custom script or homebrew software for handling this scenario.
